Here is more about Fiona:
As a child Fiona McIntyre was introduced to the Scottish West Highland pine forests by her Forestry Commission grandfather, and this planted the seed for her love of art and nature. She can trace her roots back five generations in India to Umrao Singh and her Punjabi grandmother. In 2001 McIntyre visited India for the first time and felt an instant connection to the people, landscape and vibrant colours. In 2014 she became founding member of The Arborealists, a contemporary art movement celebrating trees and nature. Fiona has exhibited in galleries and museums in Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, the UK and more recently Gibraltar. Fiona is currently developing OUR SACRED EARTH, a cross-cultural collaborative exhibition between the UK and Gibraltar Cultural Services to be curated by Dr. Philippa Beale.
For those of you in the UK, you can see Fiona's artwork at the Inspired by Trees exhibition at Burgh House (in Hampstead, London) alongside the work of other Arborealists. This runs until June 14th.
